David Ruddel

Undergraduate Research Assistant

David is pursuing a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. His areas of interest are in deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, algebra and representation theory. His role in the lab is mainly around studying and implementing works in machine learning and developing new works as well. He is currently working on the projects centered around deepfakes where he studies recent works and creates new methods and applications for both generating and detecting deepfakes. His hobbies include painting, drawing, being outdoors (hiking/backpacking), and practicing jiu jitsu.
